Each process consumes memory though, so that can affect performance (although not a problem in this case)

These days though most applications have there own update service etc, and iTunes has several processes alone, as the newer Windows OS's have more services than ever.

As said though, if you use Chrome try Internet explorer and see if you have the same problem, more than likely it's a problem with the browser, caused by a bad add-on, for example. You can run IE without any of these load for troubleshooting purposes, not sure if Chrome has a similar feature?

The display driver if for your graphics card, there may be a newer version, although I doubt this is causing this issue.
