It will suck fuel but it's not advised to run them in that way. I would personally keep all the pumps on the same plane as the swirl pot, I'd also change the forged 90 degree aeroquip bends for swept ones.

Nice car though and I don't expect that's the finished fuel system so I'm sure you planned to tidy it up a bit
