Did you really need to put fibreglass on top of the welded plate? If it was fairly level you would of got away with the smallest skim of filler, or if the plate had been slightly raised it could of been ground down level thus needing NO fibreglass or filler. Good work though, bodybork is my fav to watch people do.
Hi there, thank you for your response, basically the reason behind the p40 fibreglass filler was because there was a dent in the bonnet across the front, so it wasn't actually for the de-badge it was to bring it all up flush, and I couldn't really see any other way to do it due to it having a double skin on that section.
