Prior to this the car ran fine, I changed everything in the engine bay, wiring wise and joined it where the car loom goes through the bulkhead in the top left hand corner. But when I came to start the car I had no spark or fuel, an auto electrician came out and said the ecu had been spiked from the damage but the rest of the wiring was ok... With another ecu fitted I now have fuel and spark and the car will run but only after every 5th or so try of trying to start it, once running will cut out after about 20 seconds. I tried tow starting it, again it will run but as soon as you press the throttle it cuts out, if you don't press the throttle and dip the clutch it will idle at 3000rpm.
All im after is some ideas to try as wiring is not my strong point and I need something to try next... Thanks for any ideas people come up with...
Matt.
could you not call auto electrician back so he can see whats happening he might be able to pin point it
