well lets see now......... toyota were cheating f*cking bastards who got thrown out of the world rally championship and delecour smashed up his mates ferrari f40 nackering his ankles up so thats a perfect few reasons why the car never won, i guarantee if nobody was cheating and mcrae was driving or delecour wasn't on crutches it would of won the wrc.

anyway the car won the european rally championship and more national rally championships around the world than even i can roll off and thats not even mentioning the 1993 german touring car championships it won outright and there were loads more touring car championships the escort won around the world,its just people seem to be oblivious to how good it actually was
