i my experience of going to auctions, i'd always be wary of a car entered for auction by a private individual.

buyers/ traders will automatcialy think there is something wrong with it.

but if you dont want to sell privately, then there isnt alot of choice. How about asking a friend to sell it for you and give them £100 for there troubles?
