I've seen lots of bodges to stop it like wrapping in tape or cutting the hose in half and putting in a piece of pipe
A samco middle hose will work a treat
Just came back from a drive read your message and went out to feel the hose and it is soft. it boosts to 0.7 then dies of strait away to 0.5 but it holds it better down hill or is it just because im going down hill lol.
Any one had a problem with over heating up hills i dont mean a 500 meter hill i mean a 5 mile hill or a gradual hill climb im not driving hard not above 3000 and it slowly but surely goes into the red if i let it soon as i turn around come 5 mins down the hill it goes to half another ten mins its at quarter i can run for 50 miles at 70 mph on the motorway and its perfect dont loos no water. i changed head gasket, water pump, it anit got a thermostat. If i remember right my mates opel frontera over heated up hill i we changed the rad and it was perfect any ideas
