Some checks.

Press the clutch about an inch or two, and start the engine, then stop it.

If it's a DMF and it's failing, you'll feel a 'kick back' under your foot from the oscillations of the DMF elements.

Also if you start/switch off can you hear or feel any rattles as the engine fires up or when it shuts off?

Are there any vibrations coming through the car as you accelerate?

Make sure gearbox oil level is ok, it could be a gearbox noise of course.
