few days later i thought i would try and get the paint off the slam panel, what a nightmare it was,

we then decided to give the engine bay a sand so it could all be primed at the same time

this took a few days to do.

i then decided rather than putting the bonnet catch, bonnet release, cable, and mechanism etc etc back on after it was all painted, bin it all and buy some aero bonnet catches.

also during this time i had removed all suspension components
subframe, steering rack, brake servo etc etc

and this is the start of the smoothed slam panel
