I had a couple mk2 Cavaliers in the 90s, a Commander which was silver 1600 hatch with anthracite wheels, I had it painted a then new Vauxhall colour Caribic blue, like a turquoise type colour, proper mid 90s mobile, lowered on some 15" Tekno Maxima, similar to RS 7 spokes but thinner spokes, had an Sri engine in at and Lxi Recaros.
Then had a white Sri 130 hatch lowered on Gsi Cav wheels, some bastard wrote it off, he came round corner in town on wrong side of road as I was pulling away and took the front off the 130
Ended up jigging it out, new front end and respray, then sold it. 10 months later insurance paid out for it, win win!
