Well it isn't! If this was just a quick fix to get you home then ye whack abit of chemical metal on and drive it steady, but you are talking about hot high pressure oil leaking into your engine bay, hot oil burns harder and longer than petrol it just really isn't worth it.
If a blanking plug on the end doesn't stop the leak then the head needs to come off and be cleaned properly and Tig Welded.
Take a photo and post it up that way we can be clear on how bad it is.
