Instead of removing the head and to save pennies could you no just remove the engine if access is the only problem with repairing it in situ?
Thanks for all of your constructive suggestions so far on how to fix this. What is your thoughts on this?? Was chatting with a guy this morning and he told me to fit a new union , clean all around the crack and apply liquid aluminium all around the area and leave for 24 hours. Anyone heard of this as a possible solution?
