Just called them to arrange picking up they can't get it to stay running!! So they have borrowed some injectors to fit to see if that is the problem! I am pretty sure it was a lift pump? The first garage said this and two deprecate mechanics have looked at it and confirmed it was a lift pump, it was a white plastic cylindrical thing with a float attached which I believe is what tells the computer how much fuel is in it? What does that sound like to you? Thank you very much for all your help and advice! I asked them to look at the injectors for me a while ago and it's as though they just dismiss everything I say simply because I am a girl and I can't know what I'm on about I certainly will not be paying them anything more and will be making an attempt to get them to fix it no matter what is wrong with it as their cost now! Next step is to figure out where I need to go to put in a formal complaint! bx
