Done a few brake servo's on these vans unfortunately pal! It's due to pad change when you push the calliper piston back it forces the brake fluid in the servo backwards its not designed to do that therefore the seals turn inside out hence the brake pedal not being there when you first depress it, and as for the noise when turning, power steering racks on these fuck up all the time! Don't buy a cheap replacement Av done that a few tines and they Shit themselves, get a genuine ford rack! Hope this helps... Just s top tip for future also.. if you ever experience power loss check a long thin hose that goes to top of the turbo for a split, as they split offen replace it for about a fiver and your boost is back just top tip for when it probably does fail on you!! Hope this helps!!
