Current block exemption laws currently state that any garage can service a car / van so long as o e spec / matching quality parts are used. They don't even have to have a ford stamp I the book or be ford parts. So the dealer is being a bit out of order. Contact the owner, tell him to take the van to another ford dealer or franchise and say nothing. He has just got some jobs worth c@&£ on the case. Dealers only bill ford for the warranty work any way!
