I currently don't have any warranty on the bimmer but that's largely due to it going up for sale relatively soon otherwise I would certainly go for it.

If I owned any M car or AMG I would without a doubt have it in place.

My brothers 2 year diesel e class needed work and that was covered under warranty so certainly peace of mind.
