MK6 Fiesta 1.4 tdci problems
I've got a couple of small issues with my 1.4 TDCI Fiesta which I've owned from new. It's now 10 years old with 102k miles on the clock. No 1 problem is an intermittent over heating light/temp guage failure which will be a coolant temp sensor but I assume there will be 2 on the car, one for the guage and one for the ECU. Anyone know whereabouts it is on the engine. The second one is intermittenltly on starting the engine revs itself to about 1500rpm for about a second before it dies down to normal tickover. I assume the throttle rheostat is about to fail. Does this seem a decent assumption and is it expensive and hard to replace?
Thanks in anticipation.
