Yeah. I'm getting it on a diagnostics tomorrow. It only started happening once I messed with the egr. And when I cleaned it out it got instantly worse. And I've seen on other threads the link between the flashing light and egr faults. But mine is the vacuum type. I've sucked the pipe and the valve seems to open and close freely. I've seen the price of an egr. They seem to range from £50-£350!! See what tomorrow eve brings. Thanks.
