Can't see a problem using it, the main difference is the adhesive changes when it gets moist and sharpens up the line.
The only thing I would say is, isn't about £6.00 - £7.00 a roll where as the blue 3M is around £2.50 - £3.00 a roll. You get more on a 3M roll too
