Good morning to all Ford owners!
I just bought an Escort MK4 1.6d and the gearbox pops out from 1st and 3rd so it needs changing. My questions:
Is the MK5 1.8d gearbox a direct replacement?
In the near future I want to convert to 1.8Td lump, is the 1.8td engine from MK5 a direct fit onto mk4 1.6d mounts?
I used google and forum search functions alot but I cannot find any information about 1.6d to 1.8TD swap in MK4.
