contact opie oils on here he will be the best to advise you with the oil problem, but do not drive it while its putting the oil light on, it could ruin the engine, as said borrow a oil pressure tester and see what pressure it has when hot and if its ok then its oil but a friend had the same problem with 2 oil pumps, both burton high pressure ones and after fitting a genuine ford one it cured it
The fan comes on on its own no problem but never really stops in the day. i was thinking the fan cant keep up with the heat over here it has been hot here lately. Do you think its better to have a thermostat in evan here in Tenerife. Maybe if i go to scrap yard and find a decent fan off a citroen berlingo diesel or something that might help the cooling it doesnt over heat it seems like its just running a bit hot like in the traffic i put it down the the heat we been having and i think the radiator fan is crap my self. I havnt changed the oil pump and not sure whats on it so thats on my to do list as well now ill pressure test the oil and let you know cheers
