I borrowed a boost gauge off me mate today and it boost at 0.7 then dies off to 0.5 , 0.4 i had a look at the actuator took the clip off and it does seem a bit week i can push it in quite easy. So thats what ill get next. everything is standard on the car at the moment so still not sure what the smell is theres no leaks on turbo or exhaust the back box is blowing slightly maybe the fumes are coming in from the boot or if the rings are worn would that cause the smell ? i dont see no smoke on boost but ill get someone to follow me and see thanks for your help ill order an actuator next.
