I bought an escort rs turbo 90 spec about 18 months ago finally got it on the road after some fresh paint head gaket, recon turbo t3, but i have problem with the boost the boost comes in nice about 3000 but then 4000 seems to stop pulling it sound like there a air leak but could be the turbo spinning up iv had all the hoses of and checked for splits checked the intercooler all ok the top intake hose from the intercooler is really soft could it be collapsing? i havnt bought a new actuator yet. if your gental with the throttle it goes really well but if your floor it it seems to die like somethings stopping it. I cant get my head around it and living in tenerife there are no rs turbos here let alone tuning places there aint evan a rolling road lol any help would be much appreciated Thanks. Oh if you boot it as well you get a bit of a oil burning smell in the car or like a crankcase smell havnt changed the piston rings but it doesnt smoke well dont think it does only had it on the road a week its all new to me thanks again for any help.
