Hi all, i have a 1300 ford crossflow engine from a mk2 escort i believe, sat in a kit car all is running as it should at the moment, BUT i overtightened the bottom bolt on the alternator and cracked the alternator across the bolt hole, i have repaired for now, but i need to get a replacement alternator really. Can anyone tell me whether any of the later ford alternators would fit??? or similar.
