Again thank you for the info guys.

I would prefer to keep the rods standard but cost is also an issue.

I don't think id feel happy in putting a used set of rods into my engine especially when you add the other costs of machining, gaskets etc.

Anything second hand with the word 'Cosworth' in front or behind it usually cost not much less than the new equivalent and you would hope your getting a better product built with better tolerances on new kit than old used kit.

The crank has already been ground once to .25 so now it will be taken to .50
