Need some help deciding!

I'm going to sell/break the escort for something with a little more comfort, I can't decide between focus rs mk1 or Mazda 3-6 MPS, I know it will be a little one sided being a ford forum but does anyone have any bad points about either, both have plenty of good points so I'd like to know the bad points?

I know little about the MPS's but love the look and power, saw 2 going round castle combe at japfest this year and they were abserloutly flying round.
