After nearly a 12 month minor resto/fixing all the little issues, getting it MOT'd and tuned the blood thing let go within 30 minutes of it being on the road lol.
I couldn't believe it..... So, to cut a long story short i've found the big end shells on the No1 piston have span. I can see the engine in its past has had a lot of money spent on it, ARP bolts everywhere, all the pistons have been balanced, the pressure plate, clutch, crank, front pulley have been balanced etc.
After reading a few articles on the net about cosworth engine's im wondering whether to put better/longer conrod's in whilst the engine is open. I know there are various different brands out there but if I do go down this route then it'll only be for piece of mind rather than out and out power.
1) what are peoples thoughts please
2) who is the best person/company to purchase from.
