Default Focus Mk1 TDdi issues

Hello chaps

Putting this thread up to try and get some knowledge on an issue That came to light after a drive home today. Took a trip down the motorway home as a change of scenery and in doing so have discovered my ford focus 1.8TDdi has a very bad "vibrating" issue when accellerating over the 60mph mark and seems to be very noticeable at 70-80mph. Even when easing off the throttle when reaching said speeds it carries on for a few seconds until the speedometer reaches 55mph.

After checking around i have seen people mention things like driveshafts, engine/gearbox mounts, buckled alloys or warped discs. I have only had the car for 4 weeks and i would like to have it safe to drive and to keep it reliable as it's a good little motor. The only known problems i have with the car right now (before i discovered the above) is that there is a clunk sound from the gear lever when pulling away in first and sometimes second after a gearchange and a very annoying throttle problem which "sticks" in high gears?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
