IMO, the standard setup is ok, the trouble is it isn't that straightforward as you need need to be changing wheels, as bigger rotors will not fit under the wheels!
A popular mod is to fit the 4x4 vented rear discs, if you doing alot of track days etc, as the standard ones heat up pretty quick, but even then you will need the calipers.
OP, 2WD transmission is very strong, that power level is fine, it's the 4x4 that has the weak transmission, but on the upside it does have a stronger engine block (which isn't a problem unless you go chasing figures)
The only thing I would say is the millage, but then any decent tuner will do a 'health check' before hand to make sure the extra power won't cause any problems.
With that turbo choice, it's best to opt for Siemens 55 LB injectors instead, as the potential that turbo has is more than the fuel the injectors can supply, plus they are newer than the old Bosch's and are claimed to have a better spray pattern etc.
A -31 actuator will be needed as well, and the head gasket is a must!
