Default Air con only working when outside temp is >25C

Hi all,

I had my airconditioning fixed and refilled about two and a half month ago (An O-ring had gone).

It has been working fine ever since but In the last few weeks on three occasions it has not worked when the outside air temperature is high.

When its working it's ice cold. There was condensation on the outside of my window on the way to work this morning as outside the temp was around 18C.

It usually fails to work when the car has been left outside in the sun for a few hours on a hot day. I go to start the aircon and it just blows out hot air. The rev's look like they drop but they go straight back up.

Has anyone got any ideas on whats wrong? I'm thinking it has to be either a pressure switch or temperature sensor? Saying that, It could be a dodgy relay or fuse I suppose as when temperature increases, resistance increases in the wiring.

Thanks for reading.

James.
