Complete bullshit. If they reconditioned them then they would HAVE to give them a new code, and you would have to have them coded to the car. They probably just chucked them in some cleaning fluid.

The act of properly reconditioning injectors involves generating a new code every time - Which is why I'd ALWAYS recommend going to a Delphi specialist.

All your issues sound injector related (but get the aux belt/pulley/tensioner done). Get the injectors either replaced, or reconditioned by someone who knows what they're doing.

Don't worry about the noises once you turn the car off, it's nothing to worry about.
