Thought I better introduce myself. I am the owner of a 28000 mile 2006 Focus Zetec that literally has had one lady owner from new.

One of the reasons I joined is that it has a few issues, The main one being that between 2000 - to about 4000 rpm in 2/3/4 gears it runs poorly , very flat lacks power and on occasion you feel its almost going to die on you, once above those revs it runs fine and if anything is quite quick.

Do these models suffer from any inherent issues or known failing components ?
