Default Mondeo 05 TDCI 115 Stalling

Hi Guys: Basically after a few weeks of driving with my faults I can give definative symptoms.

The longer I leave the car the harder it is to start, If its left overnight for say 12 hours it will sometimes start after a few cranks but more often than not I have to put it in reverse then crank the engine, then it will slowly fire up, it then runs on rough idle for about 10 mins.

Once im away and driving if I keep the revs high so say keep every gear on at least 2000 revs the car is fine.

If I try to take it easy then it will randomly stall ECU cuts engine, I dip clutch and immediately fires straight back up.

This also happens on motorways if im doing near 80 in fifth gear no problems yet between 60 and 70 in fifth and it can die 3 times on the trot.

I mis-read my own driving habits with this fault and replaced the cam sensor after reading posts on similar faults but was assuming it was when I put my car under load when all I was really doing is putting the foot down in 4th gear at less than 40mph.

I have a friend who lives 40 miles from me who's going to do a leak off test for me at the weekend on the injectors. Ive also replaced the fuel filter.

So guys before I go ahead and start cleaning MAF Sensor, EGR Valve and Inlet manifold, Any ideas??

Forgot to mention before the problems started I was getting 54 MPG I now get 61 so fuel economy is a lot better
