if your weighing up the costs, then its time to get rid, what if you do the clutch and fly wheel, then something else goes? you'll be stuck having to spend money on it.
personally i'd get rid as you'll grudge every penny you spend on it.


on the other hand if you like the car and enjoy driving it, then keep it and fix it, but forget everything you spend on it. when you add up the costs and they far out weigh the cos to the vehicle then you'll allways be on a downer
