Hi all,

I have a couple of problems with my pinto 2 litre engine.
It is from a sierra 2.0i but I use a carb.
It's a 205 block and I have been able to ascertain that it was manufactured in May 1988 engine number beginning with JC, it also has FR on the cam cover.
I have been told it should have some letters stamped next to No4 plug if it can be run on unleaded. I can't see any.

question 1:- can I run on unleaded, if not, what do I need to do.

I have also decided after 20 years (low miles) to replace the cam belt.

question 2:- how do you remobe the crankshaft pulley. I got the bolt out, unfortunately it wasn't doing anything, the pulley is a press fit onto the shaft, I have tried pullers, it just stretches the rubber mounted outer ring, tried making a plate and fitting it to the centre boss using the 4 holes and jacking against the shaft, twisted several unbrako allen keys, still solid.
Has anyone got any ideas please.
Regards
Colin
