Currently rebuilding my engine and have come accross a problem, i have a 200 block with stud and nut kit..
wrote off my 4x4 head when my engine let go, im now fitting an early 2wd 3door head but have noticed the head bolt hole is much smaller than the 4x4 head.
now i know on a 4x4 head you have to grind down the 18mm socket piece to fit in the head and torque bolts. but look at the smaller gap i have on the 2wd head!
do ARP supply a 16mm sized bolt to accomodate this 2wd head issue or am i going to have to machine 2mm off all 6 bolts?
will be ringing some engine builders today if i find time at work but this would be helpful in the meantime!
