Another thing worth looking at is the 12v live you are taking off the fuel pump relay is that the permant live and not the switching live off the relay?
You really want a live that comes on when you start the car and only goes off when you turn the car off again.
Pin 20 from the ECU would be the ideal as this is where the lambda sensor takes its power from on L8 ECUs
