The grip rating is only wet weather braking in a straight line, so not really a good overall handling rating. The goodyears and dunlops are both brilliant tyres but would be more suited to a long mileage motorway user. The bridgestones will be the better performance tyre but are a little out dated nowadays as the re050 has been superseeded twice over but not to do it an injustice i had a set on my mondeo and they were great just soft and didnt last as long as something like the new generation goodyears and dunlops. But you have to remember that they were designed and produced after these tyre labels came about and the bridgestones way before they were even conceived. Vredesteins are a mediocre midrange, there are much better midrange tyres on the market in my Profesional opinion such as falkens and even the new capitols are stacking up very well vs. their older competitors.

How many miles do you do a year, roughly? What tyre size are you looking for?

Matt
