I would say change them over to how they are supposed to be because of air being trapped.I refurbed my 2wd calipers myself.No problems bleeding afterwards but I did suffer one piston sticking a few months later.Wet and dry and wd 40 sorted that.I got the pistons bloody clean before I refitted them in the first place too.
