Default Tyres-that time again!

I've just seen the Dunlop sport bluresponse and Goodyear efficient grip performance- had anyone used either of these?
They are obviously the higher performance tyres but they score well on fuel efficiency and are the best for wet grip. They're also quiet!

I've had Bridgestones on it for the last 3yrs ( the same set!) and I'm inclined to get them again tbh. The ones I have are the turanza (er300).
I've been looking at the RE050, as I see a lot of folk rate them, but on that fuel/wet grip/noise rating they don't actually score as well on wet grip, yet they're the ones described as being 'ultra high performance'. They're also cheaper than turanza's.
So how does that work then?!
Is that rating thing just bollocks?? (It is EU so I wouldn't be surprised!)

While I'm at it, what's the deal with Vredesteins?? I can't get the sessanta in 16" so it'd have to be sportrac5's, are they any good? They rate better than the RE050 and are cheaper again.
I'm not overly bothered on prices though, i dont hang about so I'd rather have a decent tyre and not be in a ditch!

Thanks for any info!
