Not a problem always happy to try and help, Yes the subwoofer remote from the back of your sony headunit now needs connecting to the cars wiring loom so it can turn the subwoofers amplifier on when the headunit is powered up. To do this u need to use the connector block from the steering wheel controls as shown in the diagram posted above by pampy. Its pin 5 and the cable should be white and red if u connect your headunits remote wire to that it should turn it on, also have u connected the phono lead from the back of you sonys headunit into the cars standard wiring???
