Well it turned up today, and .... it works , all seems good so far.


chucked in a voda sim , that i know had a few quid credit on it.

conected the two antennas, switched on, internal battery had some power.

2 / 3 mins later set it up via text with my phone.

rung it, and it text me back the location details, and a google map link.

and it also sent me a text 10mins later , saying low power.

tried it a few times, over the last few hours in a few different locations, all worked ok


So far so good


going to pick up a Talk mobile sim from carphonewhorehouse , as they seem to be the cheapest for texts only @ 4p each, so 250 for a £10 top up, as dont want a monthly top up pay as you with a bundle etc.
