First post from me and Im hoping you can help me.
Just bought a mint ST170 and looking to get a set of Coilovers together with a full set of front and rear powerflex suspension bushes. Whilst I have all the details for the bushes I am a tad confused with the Coilovers. I was due to have asset of ProSport Coilovers fitted tomorrow by Performance 3000 in Yeovil, however at the 11th hour they informed me that ProSport don't make a kit for the ST170......was lucky the told me as I was due to travel down from Surrey to have these fitted. However I have come across another site on eBay selling the exact same kit and they say that their ProSport kit will fit an ST170......I have e mailed them for confirmation. The reason I was attracted to the ProSport kit was primarily price (Circa £200 for the full kit), and also the good reports I have read. So I am waiting to see what happens with this. Performance 3000 were offering a good deal and fitting the kit for £150inc VAT which included a 4 wheel laser alignment after fitting. Can anyone recommend a good performance garage in surrey or borders that could fit my Coilovers should I get the ProSport kit? I also need advice on droplinks as I understand that I need shortened ones, so again advice as to where to buy would be of help. Lastly should the ProSport Coilovers not be compatible can anyone recommend any other Coilover kits??
