Got round to to checking the cam and VVC on mine today and it was fucking miles out! I was surprised it actually ran!!

Crankshaft timed up:



Special tool fitted onto camshafts - cam timing way out!!:



Cam timing set up properly!:



My heart was in my mouth when I started it up but it ran like a dream!!

What's even more worrying, it was a Ford dealer that got the timing wrong!!!


I'd definitely be checking your camshaft timing.
