Yep wouldnt worry about it Dojj, I have also done PLENTY of new car engine bays and never had an issue....

My weapons of choice are;

Megs Super Degreaser with some APC mixed in
Jet wash
Aerospace 303

Let it soak in and dry off, you can leave the engine running etc if you like to speed up the process

Wipe off any excess

Jobs a goodun!
