Never heard of the st170 spring mod. I'm going for the 106gti ones with 2mm washers. Anyone heard about the 2mm washers going underneath to increase stiffness? is it a must?


Wish i had £250 to spung on springs but that is a rip off imo. Maybe after a while of driving in constant fear i will bite the bullet.. haha



Haven't got any oil pump pics because the guy at Specialised Engines didn't give me back the pump after showing me it was fucked.. hmmmmmm that was months ago now. Basically when he showed me it all i could see was marking on the housing from where the gear rotates against it, it looked like (and this is the best way i can describe it) the metal panels you get on burger van interior panels and burger van cheapy metal tables.. It could of been fine, but what do i know?
