Yep 100% can but sometimes the bint in the p/o will ask you to write the new keepers name and address on the green slip although I have no idea why,sometimes they stamp it and then you cant use it again but sometimes they dont and you can.
You can also tax a cat c car that requires but hasn't passed a VIC check yet on the green slip (which I deliberately put in my reply so people can tell me I'm wrong)!!!!
That's exactly what I was wondering too, I didn't bother writing it in but if they ask then I'm sure my dad knows my name and where I live
