I've got the inlet off too, will give that a clean at work tomorrow. Thought it would be very clogged as it's done 130k, but there was just a small bit of oily gunge that will come out with a good steam clean.
Plenty of info out there for the tdci, but very little for the tddi regarding bleeding.

The TDDIs have a lift pump in the tank which means that it should 'self bleed'. The TDCi only has one high pressure pump that needs an uninterrupted supply of fuel, hence why they're a bastard to start if there's air in the system.
With yours make very sure that the fuel filter is brim full, and it should start ok.
