Im new here i have jusy got a escort 55 1.8 d none turbo van on a r plate 97 . Tha question is do you think it will tow a small 2 berth caravan . Tha plate by the door on the caravan says 800kg , in one box 620kg in the second & 75 kg in the 3rd . The escort has done 87,000 miles and has been well looked after .It will only be travling on country lanes and Aroads no motorways . The tow bar will cost me £150.00 to be fitted by a firm not far from me . Any ideas ? Thank s for your time ATB Roy .
