You can use a pressure washer at a distance its fine trust me i have done loads ( new cars that is) or just use a hose pipe to wash the apc off ,then use a cloth to dry or if you have a hair dryer use that to blow water out of the nooks and crannys
If you are worried get some cling film or tin foil and wrap it around the areas you dont want water getting in.
